Troopers identify man killed in shootout with patrol in Saline County The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the man killed in a shootout with state troopers in Saline County. The patrol's Troop A posted on X Wednesday night that 23-year-old Francis Alcantar-Chavez of Tempe, Arizona died Tuesday night. The patrol said a trooper shot Alcantar after he allegedly fired at troopers trying to arrest him near Sweet Springs.
