Video footage captured a speedboat that became airborne, flipped and crashed into an Arizona lake during a boating event. The crash took place on April 26 at the Desert Storm event in Lake Havasu, an annual "performance boating event," according to its website. The boat, a Freedom One Racing boat, had been moving at a speed of more than 200 mph before it became airborne, according to video footage from inside the cockpit.

Two dogs were rescued from a hiking trail in Black Canyon City after being missing for four days. On April 25, a hiker found the dogs about 1.5 miles from the trailhead at the Black Canyon City Trail, according to a Facebook post from Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical. The dogs, named Spike and Snickers, "never left each other's side," the post said.
