TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - It was a Sunday to remember at the ballparks in the Old Pueblo. The Arizona softball and baseball teams completed series sweeps with walk-off wins at home, and both victories came with some hometown flavor. Tucson High grad and Arizona Softball senior Carlie Scupin hit a go-ahead two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning against ASU, giving the Wildcats a 9-8 win, a series sweep of the Sun Devils, and payback for a 2022 sweep at Hillenbrand Stadium.

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Tucson Roadrunners aren't going anywhere just yet. Team owner Alex Meruelo revealed at a press conference Friday that he "spoke too soon" on a Phoenix radio show Thursday, and that no decisions have been made about the Roadrunners relocating to Tempe. The first two schedule leaks have the Arizona Cardinals opening the season in New Orleans against the Saints, and then hosting a primetime (!) Thursday Night Football matchup in Week 4 (September 25) against the Seahawks.
