CHICAGO - The already slim possibility that the Chicago Cubs might sign Kyle Tucker to a contract extension appears to be fading now that the Toronto Blue Jays have reached an agreement with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on a 14-year, $500 million megadeal. The Blue Jays were under enormous pressure to close a deal with Guerrero, who was born in Canada and is the son of a Hall of Famer who once starred for the Montreal Expos.
