Celebrity chef Bobby Flay landed in the Valley in 2023, opening a location of his fast food joint Bobby's Burgers inside Sky Harbor International Airport. In mid-May, the company announced plans to bring multiple stand-alone Bobby's Burgers restaurants to the Valley. The new spots will be operated by Joe Sample, a franchisee who also operates locations of Taco Bell. The exact locations of the new restaurants have yet to be announced.

In April, the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation announced the 2025 Regional Top 10 Honorees. Nine Phoenix bars were named among the best in the West. Now, the next round has been announced. The Top 10 Nominees are ranked in categories of international awards, focusing on countries outside the U.S.; worldwide awards which include everyone; and awards specific to the U.S. This year, Phoenix made an appearance in multiple U.S. categories.
