SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport Police Department responded to a shooting in the 8100 block of Pines Road, near Quail Ridge Drive just before 3 a.m. Saturday morning. SPD arrived to the Huntington Park neighborhood and located an 18-year-old victim with three gunshot wounds to the arm. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. SPD says there is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

SHREVEPORT, La. - Early Saturday morning, the Shreveport Fire Department responded to the 1900 block of Centenary Boulevard due to an abandoned apartment complex that was on fire. The incident was brought under control requiring 36 firefighters to do so. No injuries were reported. No utilities are present at the apartment complex. The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation. SFD encourages the public to report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities.

SHREVEPORT, La. -Three people are dead and one is in critical condition after a fire in the MLK neighborhood in Shreveport. The Shreveport Fire Department responded to a major fire in the 2400 block of Kemp Lane around 6:30 Sunday morning. 31 firefighters operating 13 units helped fight this devastating and deadly incident. While searching the house, firefighters found four bodies. All four victims were taken to the hospital, and three died. The fourth victim is still in critical condition.
