Those attending want ICE out of Illinois. They want the raids and family separation to stop in immigrant communities. During his visit, he had a closed-door roundtable discussion with Chicago-based ICE leadership.

    HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. — Police are investigating an “act of antisemitism” in north suburban Highland Park. The investigation stems from a threatening letter a resident said they found in their mailbox. Highland Park police responded to the 900 block of Marion Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The FBI and State Terrorism and Intelligence Center were also notified. A preliminary investigation reveals that the letter was sent through the United State Postal Service (USPS).

    BATAVIA, Ill. — Clean-up is underway after a powerful storm swept through Batavia, causing significant damage.
