The car was immediately available from dealerships on that day, selling 22,000 units during its debut. You know how that works—it starts out simple and slow, then increases in speed and size until it rolls way past the original plan. Zac Zipperian has always liked ’58 and ’59 Chevy trucks, and building one had been a dream of his for a while. In 2010, he found what he was looking for on eBay. It was a ’59 Chevy Apache—a southern truck from North Carolina.
