Investigators say Hoffman was stabbed to death last month while trying to help a patient. E2 Embroidery & Screenprinting has been producing T-shirts and other items to raise money for Hoffman’s family. Those items began shipping this week. Kristen Gibbs, who drives a firetruck for the Kansas City Fire Department, spent her day off Wednesday volunteering to pack T-shirts.
