There was a very celebratory atmosphere inside of the Mary Herbert Education Center Wednesday evening, both before and after the USD 253 Board of Education’s regular meeting and there was no shortage of reasons as to why. Roof repairs are coming to Olpe and Hartford High Schools following action by the USD 252 Board of Education Monday. As part of their meeting, members approved just under $30,000 in roof work for Hartford and just over $50,000 for Olpe. This is just a small portion of roof work that is scheduled to take place over the course of the next several years according to Superintendent Ryan Muhlig.
