Police officers have received reports of illegal fishing and anti-social behaviour over the last few days. Newark police said that the behaviour reported to be around Balderton Lake has the potential to harm wildlife, damage the environment, and cause distress to members of the public. They will be patrolling the area alongside Newark and Sherwood District Council antisocial behaviour team and reviewing CCTV from the area to, if identified, take action against any offenders.

Riff-laced Brighton band Slung have released their debut album, In Ways, which was released on May 2 via Fat Dracula.
