Fourteen businesses across south-east London have been publicly called out for not paying the minimum wage. They are among 518 employers across the UK who owe their workers more than £7.4 million, according to the government. The named businesses have since paid back what they owe and faced financial penalties of up to 200 per cent of their underpayment.
