The Drift is the latest bar to open in the borough and wants to be more than just a bar by allowing people to "escape within". It is located within Crate Walthamstow, inside 17&Central shopping centre. The bar was opened by Marco Maiocchi and features 'mood-forward lighting, warm textures and minimalist design'. This is to create a "pocket of calm" for people to "sip, relax and enjoy great service".
