    CANTON — Local children’s book author Laura Lavoie is set to release two new books this month, one a picture book and the other her debut novel. “Cousins!,” Lavoie’s fourth picture book, will be published by Roaring Brook Press, an imprint of Macmillan, on May 27. The book, intended for children ages 3-7, draws inspiration from the large family gatherings Lavoie experienced as a child. “It’s intended for ages 3-7,” Lavoie said.
