    A former Humberside Police inspector is due to appear in court charged with causing the sexual exploitation of a child under 13. He has also been accused of three counts of making indecent photographs of children. Ian Walpole was charged today (Friday, May 16) and has been bailed to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Thursday, May 22. Humberside Police say an investigation was launched in July last year when information was received of suspected offending.

Hospitals in the region are set to benefit from £8.5 million in Great British Energy and government funding to install solar panels, allowing their energy bills to be dramatically reduced.
