We could smell the fires cooking up delicious barbecued meats as we queued to get in on a sultry Wednesday evening. It's a beautiful setting to see the tents and stalls set out in the Royal Park and the crowds had certainly got up a thirst and hunger for the 120 dishes on offer from many of the capital's top chefs and restaurants. The four athletes came home in seventh, eighth, ninth, and 11th respectively. Creed's time of 8:51.86 was more than nine seconds faster than any other athlete in his age group this year.
