    Jalen Shirley has officially made history. The fourth-year dynamic scoring guard from the UBC Okanagan Heat has been drafted to the Canadian Elite Basketball League's (CEBL) Edmonton Stingers. This marks the first time a Heat player has been selected in the draft. "This has been my dream since I was a kid," Shirley told Kelowna Capital News. An update on the closure is anticipated at 3 p.m. The closure is at KM 668 of the highway. Highway 37, the other road route from British Columbia into the Yukon, may also be seeing traffic disruptions today.
