Charlotte Bennett, a former aide to the governor on health policy, dropped the suit on Friday, April 18, according to New York State of Politics. Her suit claimed that the state was liable for alleged sexual harassment by Governor Cuomo and failed to take corrective action once it was reported.

VERONA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — A Camillus woman was arrested after an early morning traffic stop in the Town of Verona led to drug charges. New York State Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Senn Road in the town of Verona at approximately 4 am on Thursday, April 17. Upon their arrival, troopers met with the occupants — 43-year-old Gary Schapp of Munnsville and 37-year-old Kimberlee Pontello of Camillus.

ALBANY, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) — The State Attorney General’s office is moving to have the state and corrections commissioner Daniel Martuscello from a lawsuit filed by the family of Robert Brooks. The Albany Times-Union reported that the attorney general’s office filed a motion earlier in the week to dismiss claims against Martuscello, arguing that cases like Brooks’ that predated his tenure as commissioner do not establish he was aware that Brooks was in any imminent danger.
