The county’s fire and rescue service say they were called at 8.42pm on Sunday (May 11) after reports of a fire in Selby. A service spokesman said: “Both crews from Selby responded to a fire in some woods measuring approximately 10 metres by eight metres. “Crews extinguished the fire using main jets.
