The D-backs are adding one of the best prospects in the game to their stacked offense. Shortstop Jordan Lawlar, ranked by MLB Pipeline as baseball's No. 4 prospect, is set to be called up, a source told MLB.com on Monday. The club has not confirmed the news. Lawlar, who played 14 regular-season games with the D-backs plus three more in the postseason in 2023 following his first callup, has hit .336 with 15 doubles, six homers and 13 steals in 37 games with Triple-A Reno this year.
