Most say they just can’t afford it. Arizona’s Family is trying to save you money, so we turned to Clint Henderson, a travel expert with The Points Guy. He says it’s not too late to book a trip and recommends buying an airline ticket about a month or two in advance for domestic flights.

PHOENIX (AZFamily/AP) — More children have died this flu season in the United States than in any other over the last 15 years. Data in the newest report from the CDC shows at least 216 child flu deaths across the country this influenza season. That includes five in Arizona, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services. Health officials say those numbers could change and won’t be official until the fall.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — City of Phoenix officials are launching a new heat relief plan as scorching temperatures will soon hit the Valley this summer. Beginning on May 1, the new 2025 heat response plan will go into effect. Some of the changes this year include moving the main heat relief center from the Burton Barr Library to a larger location at 20 W. Jackson Street, which will have around-the-clock security.
