    A lone sailor living on a sailboat trapped in the Georgian Bay ice has sparked concern among Penetanguishene residents. The man, who police say has been living aboard the boat since summer, has drawn the attention of locals, some of whom have brought groceries and supplies to him during the cold months. One resident, Evan Topping said he wielded together a wooden stove and walked it out to his sailboat.

    Police in Orillia are investigating an incident that left a 14-year-old in the hospital after they were injured while being pulled on a GT Racer. On Jan., 10, around 10:30 p.m., Orillia OPP, Rama Police Service, Ramara Fire and emergency services responded to an accident involving a teen who was allegedly runover by a vehicle that was pulling a GT Racer. The injured 14-year-old was taken to a local hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries.
