Donegal News

The Donegal News, previously known as Derry People, is a local newspaper that publishes twice a week in the northwest region of Ireland. It was first established in 1902. Initially focused on Derry in Northern Ireland, the newspaper shifted its operations to Letterkenny, County Donegal, at the start of World War II, leading to a greater emphasis on Donegal news. The Donegal News is part of the North-West News Group, which also owns a number of other regional publications, including the Ulster Herald, Fermanagh Herald, Strabane Chronicle, Tyrone Herald, and Gaelic Life.
