IDAHO - Idaho State Police will begin transporting immigrants who have completed criminal sentences directly to federal immigration facilities under a new agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Gov. Brad Little announced Thursday that the state has entered into an agreement with ICE under the federal 287(g) program, which allows state and local law enforcement to perform specific immigration functions under ICE supervision.

BOISE, Idaho - An 18-year-old man faces multiple felony charges after police say he robbed a Boise business at knifepoint and was later found with illegal drugs. Vincent Cummings was arrested June 4 in connection with an armed robbery that occurred three days earlier at a business on South Cole Road, according to Boise police. Investigators say a suspect entered the store around 4:30 p.m. on June 1, approached two employees with a knife, and demanded money from the register.

The Bruneau Dunes features the tallest single structure of sand in North America at 470 feet, and it's another example of how skiers are willing to earn their turns. CALDWELL, Idaho - The Caldwell Fire Department issued an immediate burn ban within Caldwell city limits on Thursday due to dangerous fire conditions. Recent high temperatures and low humidity levels have led to an increased wildfire risk, according to the department. "The combination of dry conditions and elevated temperatures has significantly heightened the threat of wildfires in our area," said Alan Perry, Deputy Chief of Fire Prevention.
