The Jersey Journal is a newspaper that comes out every Monday to Saturday, reporting on news and happenings in Hudson County, New Jersey. Originally based in Jersey City at Journal Square, which was named after the paper, the headquarters moved to Secaucus in January 2014.

    Goals were everywhere in Maplewood on Thursday. Fortunately for Columbia, they scored 24 of the game’s 35 scores to take a 24-11 victory over Mount St. Dominic. Leading the way for Columbia (7-7) was Margaret McManus, who scored seven goals to lead all scorers. Evie Campbell and Amelia Burroughs also scored four apiece for the winners. The Cougars held a 15-8 lead at the half. Six goals by Jayden DeSilva paced the Mount, which fell to 2-10.

Back to .500 at 7-7 on the season, Ashley Suplicki, Gabby Robillard, Lily Gaetano, and Tehreem Choudhry all scored twice for Boonton, which jumped out to a commanding 7-0 lead at the half.
