The Salem News, previously known as the Salem Evening News, is a daily newspaper that caters to the southern Essex County region in Massachusetts. Although it carries the name of Salem, its headquarters are located in the nearby town of Danvers. This publication, which is part of the Eagle-Tribune Publishing Company—owned by CNHI—comes out four days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. The newspaper covers not just Salem but also a large portion of southern Essex County, situated to the northeast of Boston. In the past, it offered distinct editions for the cities of Beverly and Peabody. For many years, the paper's circulation has hovered around 30,000, reaching approximately 63,000 readers on a daily basis.
