    MCCOLL, S.C. (WPDE) — The Town of McColl has hired a new police chief after being without a leader for the department for the past seven months, according to McColl Mayor Robert Outlaw. Outlaw said Charles English has accepted the position. "Charles has been in law enforcement for many years. He's well respected. And he would fit right in with the Town of McColl," said Outlaw.
