MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — Surveillance video captured the moments a collapsing building overhang narrowly missed cars passing by on a Miami roadway Wednesday. The video, taken from a body shop across the street, caught the wood-and-metal awning as it came crashing down. Seconds later, a car is seen swerving to avoid the collapse. According to the Miami Police Department, they temporarily closed northbound 7th Avenue from NW 30th to 32nd Streets to investigate the incident.

This training, they said, helps make their officers the best and keep the community safer.
