DOLTON, Ill. (WGN) — A deadly crash involving a motorcyclist along the Bishop Ford Freeway caused some road closures early Tuesday morning. The crash unfolded just before 3 a.m. in the outbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Freeway near Sibley Boulevard, near the border of Calumet City and Dolton, according to Illinois State Police troopers. A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of the motorcycle was traveling along I-94 when they struck a vehicle.

CHICAGO — Three men were shot late Saturday night in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, according to police. Officers responded just after 10 p.m. to the 1100 block of North California Avenue following reports of multiple gunshot victims. Police say the victims were standing outside in a group when someone in a vehicle approached and opened fire before fleeing the scene. A 27-year-old man was shot in both legs and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he is reported to be in fair condition.
