KCOY-TV is a television station affiliated with CBS, located in Santa Maria, California, and serving the Central Coast region. It broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 19 (or virtual channel 12 using PSIP) from a transmitter situated on Tepusquet Peak in the Los Padres National Forest, to the east of Santa Maria. The station is owned by VistaWest Media, LLC, but is operated by News-Press & Gazette Company through a shared services agreement. This arrangement makes KCOY a sister station to KEYT-TV, an ABC affiliate licensed in Santa Barbara (channel 3), and KKFX-CD, a Class A Fox affiliate (channel 24), which operates as a translator for KCOY. KCOY and KKFX share their studio facilities on West McCoy Lane in Santa Maria, while KEYT has its own studio located at 730 Miramonte Drive on TV Hill, which overlooks downtown Santa Barbara. Additionally, KCOY's signal can be received through translators K44DN (channel 44) in Paso Robles and KSBB-CD (channel 17) in Santa Barbara.
