FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A teenager is in the hospital Wednesday morning after a stabbing at West Potomac High School in Fairfax County, authorities said. Officers with the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) responded to the school and discovered that a teenage victim had been stabbed. That teen was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said a teenage male suspect is in custody.

(KTUL) — State Representative Gabe Woolley told News Channel 8 he has a letter requesting an audit with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services that's being signed by other lawmakers. He said there are nearly 30 lawmakers in support of the audit so far. This comes after OKDHS asked for an additional $100 million in its budget from the state, but that's the same amount OKDHS overspent last year, which is raising some red flags for lawmakers like Woolley.

"It’s hard for me," said Michael Gee, Ty'Shaun's father, who describes his son as joyful. "Apple of my eye, light of my family, the best child you could ever think about, dream about," he said. Ty'Shaun's siblings were with him when it happened. "Upon arrival we learned that a child under the age of 10 was struck by a vehicle," said TPD Sergeant Julie Hopper.

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Since 2013 Monte Cassino has donated over 302,000 diapers and over 1,500 packages of baby wipes for the youngest poor in Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma. This year's diaper drive broke a school record with 26,836 diapers and 24 packages of baby wipes. A demonstration of community, that's one way to describe the flurry of activity taking place at Monte Cassino. "So we’re loading these diapers in the car to take them to Catholic Charities," said 7th grader Josie Hull.

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — It's an event that only happens once every ten years, the permit renewal for hazardous waste disposal facilities at the HF Sinclair Tulsa West Refinery. "So this is a permit that the refinery has to remediate and maintain solid waste management units, so these are different areas of the facility where different hazardous waste are found in the groundwater," said Amy Brittain of Oklahoma Environmental Quality Land Protection Division.
