Those two fires are now burning over 30,000 acres combined. The Jenkins Creek Fire is at 15,571 Acres and the Camp House fire at 14,979. Both are still 0% contained. According to officials, the amount of dead trees helped accelerate the growth of the Jenkins Creek Fire.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says that a 52-year-old man from Carson, North Dakota crashed his 2007 Harley Davidson after failing to navigate a curve and going off the roadway. He died at the scene.
