    AN appeal has been launched to help identify a man whose body was found in a canal in Birmingham. The body of a man was discovered in the Birmingham canal, between Raboe Lane and Bridge Street in Smethwick, at around 3pm on November 30 last year. West Midlands Police said it has been working hard to identify him since he was found, however, has so far been unsuccessful. The man’s body had no injuries, and police said there is no evidence of any third party involvement in his death.

    17 1/17 CELEBRATIONS were held in the sun to mark the end of Ramadan. More than 50 people from across Andover and further afield, came together at Charlton Lakeside to spend time together on Sunday, March 30. This included people from multicultural backgrounds. The attendees were able to enjoy lots of food and drinks and catch up. One of the organisers for the event was Sister Amna.
