The first featured a white Minnesota woman named Shiloh Hendrix, who allegedly spotted a Somali child rifling her diaper bag at the park; she then reportedly called the child the N-word. An irate park-goer with a rather questionable background then followed her down the street while filming her and yelling at her; she responded by doubling down. The video, as it generally does nowadays, went viral.

WELLSBORO — The Wellsboro-based bank holding company Citizens and Northern Corporation (C&N) announced on Tuesday that the company will be merging with Susquehanna Community Financial, Inc. (SQCF) in a unanimous decision agreed upon by both companies’ boards of directors. C&N operates 28 Citizens and Northern Bank offices throughout New York and Pennsylvania, while SQCF operates seven Susquehanna Community Bank offices in central Pennsylvania.

On May 3, 2024, Roger Fortson was on a video call with his girlfriend when a knock came at his door. Fortson, a 23-year-old Black man, was a Senior Airman in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Florida. Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputy Eddie Duran had responded to a domestic disturbance call at the apartment complex. Building staff directed him to Fortson’s unit. After the deputy pounded on the door, Fortson opened it, holding his left hand up, palm out, posing no threat.
