The N'West Iowa REVIEW serves as the main publication of Iowa Information, Inc., a company located in Sheldon, Iowa. Founded in 1962 by Peter W. and Connie Wagner, who initially launched The Golden Shopper, the REVIEW was introduced a decade later in 1972. It was created to serve the four counties in the northwestern region of Iowa. Today, it boasts the largest paid circulation of any weekly newspaper in the state and has received numerous accolades in both state and national competitions. Published every Saturday morning, the REVIEW focuses significantly on high school sports, as well as featuring various articles and themed sections.

    Sheldon gets the opportunity to host a girls track and field meet for the second time in four days this week. The Orabs will host the Sheldon Coed Relays on Thursday, then run in a meet hosted by Okoboji on Monday. “We’ve got great volunteers and administration to run a smooth and efficient meet,” said Sheldon coach Joseph Kunert. “That’s good to do that a couple times and race in front of the home crowd. Hopefully, the rain holds off on Thursday. Looking forward to that.

    West Sioux continued its streak five consecutive matches without a loss last week in boys soccer and entered the state rankings. The Falcons, 5-1-1 overall and 4-1-1 in the Northwest Iowa Soccer League, are ranked eighth in Class 1A. They play next on Tuesday next week in a conference match at home against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley. West Sioux hosted Western Christian after the press deadline on Tuesday in a league contest.

The Falcons, 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the Northwest Iowa Soccer League, are scheduled to play next on Tuesday next week at 0-6 Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley. West Sioux played at 1-3-1 Western Christian after the press deadline on Tuesday this week. The Falcons hosted MOC-Floyd Valley on Tuesday, April 15, and dropped a 2-0 decision against the Dutch in a conference contest in Hawarden.
