KKFX-CD is a low-powered, Class A television station affiliated with Fox, located in San Luis Obispo, California. It serves the Central Coast region and broadcasts a high-definition digital signal on virtual and UHF channel 24 from its transmitter situated near Serrano and U.S. 101 in the Los Padres National Forest. The station is owned by News-Press & Gazette Company (NPG) and is a sister station to KEYT-TV, an ABC affiliate based in Santa Barbara (channel 3). Additionally, NPG operates KCOY-TV, a CBS affiliate licensed in Santa Maria (channel 12), through a shared services agreement with VistaWest Media, LLC. KKFX and KCOY share studio facilities located on West McCoy Lane in Santa Maria, while KEYT has its own separate studios at 730 Miramonte Drive on TV Hill, which overlooks downtown Santa Barbara. In most local cable systems, KKFX can be found on channel 11, which is why it is commonly referred to as Fox 11.
