Wendy's and Takis have teamed up to turn up the heat this summer. The fast food chain announced Tuesday, June 17 it has collaborated with Takis on a limited-time meal called the Takis Fuego Meal. The meal features the Takis Fuego Chicken Sandwich and Takis-inspired Fuego Fries, according to Wendy's. The items will be available at Wendy's restaurants in the United States beginning June 20 and in Canadian locations starting June 30.

A Bucyrus man died Sunday in a one-vehicle wreck. Constantinos Charles Chavatzas, 20, had been driving northbound on Knauss Road north of Ohio 294 when his vehicle veered off the road, according a report from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office. Chavatzas was driving a black 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage that went off the west side of the road and hit a tree about 3:31 p.m. Sunday in western Crawford County.

The deadliest time of the year has arrived on Ohio roads, especially for teenage drivers. On average, eight people nationwide are killed every day of the summer in teen-involved driving crashes, according to AAA data. Across the country, 13,135 people were killed from 2019-2023 in a crash involving a teen driver. "Over 30% of those deaths occurred during the 100 deadliest days between Memorial Day and Labor Day," AAA notes.
