ST. CLOUD — It’s finally happening — they’re finally going to remove the bottleneck on Interstate 94 between Monticello and Albertville. The 10-mile stretch has led to many delays, especially during busy summer weekends as Minnesotans head up north. But the Minnesota Department of Transportation is finally working to widen lanes on both sides. Construction begins Tuesday, April 8, and the entire project is expected to be completed by fall 2026, according to a news release.

ST. CLOUD — Organizers estimate that more than 2,000 people attended St. Cloud’s Hands Off Protest on Saturday, April 5. The protest was one of hundreds that took place Saturday around the U.S. in all 50 states, according to the Associated Press. “The turnout's incredible. I counted 2,125 people,” said Jill Kelly, one of the event organizers.
