Bay City Times
The Bay City Times is a newspaper based in Bay City, Michigan, USA. It is released three times a week on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and also has a Tuesday edition that is published together with The Saginaw News. Booth Newspapers, which is part of Advance Publications, publishes this paper. It holds the title of the most widely read newspaper in northeastern Michigan. Established in 1873, it is one of the oldest newspapers that is still in operation today.

LIVONIA, MI – A 31-year-old man was shot by a Metro Detroit police officer on Friday after a confrontation at a local business and taken to a nearby hospital. The Livonia Police Department responded to the report of a man with a gun near Middlebelt and Five Mile roads at around 2:10 p.m. Friday, June 6. According to a news release, the report indicated the man was behaving erratically while brandishing a gun.

Lisa Janine Pipp, of Greendale, Wisconsin, was reported missing Jan. 13 after an incident on the ice of Green Bay when police said she walked away from an argument with her boyfriend and toward open water.

BLACKMAN TOWNSHIP, MI – A 22-year-old Jackson man has been arrested in connection to an early morning shooting on Wednesday. Police were originally called shortly before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, to a home in the 100 block of Peacock Walk in Blackman Township for a reported shooting when a 16-year-old boy was found breathing but unresponsive. Suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, the youth was later taken to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in critical condition.
