It is affiliated with The CW network and serves the Portland area in Oregon, with its license registered in Salem, the state capital. The station is part of Nexstar Media Group, working alongside KOIN, a CBS affiliate on channel 6, creating a duopoly in the region. Both stations share their studios located in the basement of the KOIN Center, situated on Southwest Columbia Street in downtown Portland.
