KYTX is a CBS-affiliated TV station that operates on virtual channel 19 and UHF digital channel 18. It serves the areas of Tyler and Longview in Texas and is licensed to Nacogdoches. The station is owned by Tegna, Inc. KYTX shares its facilities with KCEB, a MeTV affiliate that is owned by London Broadcasting Company. Both stations are based in a studio near Loop 323 in southeastern Tyler, while their transmitter is situated near State Highway 110 in rural east-central Cherokee County, northeast of Gallatin.

SAN ANTONIO — A man is in jail, accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old almost two years ago. He was arrested Thursday after police say he evaded arrest. Court documents show he was babysitting the child when the assault happened back in September of 2023. The four-year-old complained to her mom about being in pain and told her what happened. The mother took the little girl to the hospital and after an examination, DNA connected Michael Moreno III, 20, to the sexual assault.

TYLER, Texas — A man on Monday pleaded guilty to plotting to stalk, kidnap and kill his friend's ex-girlfriend in a Smith County courtroom. Brad McKinney, 53, entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to commit capital murder while renumeration during a hearing in the 7th District Court. His sentencing hearing was then set for July 31, according to online judicial records. The charge is a first-degree felony that carries a punishment range of five to 99 years to life in prison.

TYLER, Texas — A Tyler man pleaded guilty to killing his two passengers while driving drunk in March 2024. Jose Luis Bravo Jr., 22, pleaded guilty to two counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle on Monday in the 7th District Court for a March 24, 2024 crash, according to judicial records. His sentencing will be held July 24 in the 7th District Court. The wreck caused the deaths of Jose Bravo Delgado and Santa Lucia Bravo, documents said.
