KYTX is a CBS-affiliated TV station that operates on virtual channel 19 and UHF digital channel 18. It serves the areas of Tyler and Longview in Texas and is licensed to Nacogdoches. The station is owned by Tegna, Inc. KYTX shares its facilities with KCEB, a MeTV affiliate that is owned by London Broadcasting Company. Both stations are based in a studio near Loop 323 in southeastern Tyler, while their transmitter is situated near State Highway 110 in rural east-central Cherokee County, northeast of Gallatin.

    TYLER, Texas — An East Texas man took on and finished what is often called the "Holy Grail" of marathons. On Monday, Ryan Moore, of Bullard, a co-owner of Project One Roofing in Tyler, ran in and completed the Boston Marathon, the world's oldest annual marathon. Moore said he often trains with a group of runners back home in the early mornings near Fresh by Brookshire's in Tyler. That training helped him get ready to take off something on his bucket list.
