    UDALL, Kan. (KSNW) – A fire destroyed a barn early Wednesday morning in Cowley County. It happened sometime before 1 a.m. on a farm in the 1800 block of N. Oxford Road (E. 75th Ave N.), southwest of Udall. Cowley County Fire District 4, Sumner County Fire 9 in Belle Plaine, and Mulvane Fire responded to the scene and discovered that the barn was already a complete loss. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimate was not provided.

    AUGUSTA, Kan. (KSNW) — Four people have been hurt, including a young child, following a crash near Augusta. A Butler County 911 Dispatch Supervisor confirms to KSN that one person had to be airlifted to the hospital with potentially critical injuries following the crash between a pickup and an SUV. It happened just east of Santa Fe Lake Road on SW 110th Street near Cameron Road shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. A young child suffered potentially serious injuries and was taken by EMS to the hospital.
