The Flint Journal
The Flint Journal is a newspaper that comes out four times a week in Flint, Michigan. It is owned by Booth Newspapers, which is part of Advance Publications. The Journal is published on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, covering news for Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee Counties. Since February 2, 2012, its main office has been located in Downtown Flint at 540 S Saginaw St, Suite 504. The Flint Journal, along with its sister papers The Saginaw News and The Bay City Times, is printed at the Valley Publishing Co. printing facility in Monitor Township, which is also owned by Booth.

GRAND HAVEN, MI - The rezoning of a downtown site to make way for a new hotel was approved unanimously by the Grand Haven Planning Commission Tuesday, May 13. A five-story, 128-room Residence Inn by Marriott hotel is being proposed for 233 Washington Avenue, at the corner of Third Street, in the city’s central downtown district. The property is directly adjacent to Jumpin Java coffee shop. The hotel project is being proposed by 6PM Hospitality Partners and BDR Custom Homes, who own the building.
