    Richard W. “Wayne” Coursey, 91, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, surrounded by his family in Monmouth, IL. Richard was born February 23, 1934, in Monmouth, the son of Harold Faye “Bud” and Irma Grace (Hendrix) Coursey. He was raised and educated in Kirkwood, graduating from Kirkwood High School in 1952.  Richard served with the United States Marine Corps from 1953-1955. Richard married Betty Ann Burnett in Kirkwood on November 12, 1955, and she died July 9, 1998.
